This week we say goodbye to Thai Pavilion, the fifth restaurant to exit Rockville Town Square since January. The longtime eatery follows in the recent footsteps of Bar Louie, Gordon Biersch and La Tasca (all part of chains that filed bankruptcy) as well as the short-lived local eatery Gumbo Ya Ya. It’s unclear how much this latest closing had to do with the pandemic, but Thai Pavilion now joins our list of 14 local restaurants that have closed since spring. See the other 13 here.
