Here’s a first look at the interior of the new Mykonos Restaurant, starting construction soon at Cabin John Village. Owners Rodi Tzani and Angelo Mitsotakis, who will continue to operate Mykonos Grill in Rockville, have engaged Greek chef Michael Zacharis to design a fresh menu for this new venture. He’ll be cooking up fresh twists on classic Greek meat and seafood dishes, which will be similar — but not the same — as those served in Rockville. The Cabin John restaurant will feature an open kitchen and an indoor/outdoor horseshoe-shaped bar, which will stay open late every night serving cocktails and tapas. Outside, a plant-lined patio will include a fireplace, lighted pergolas and space for live musicians. Brunch will be served on Sundays. Everything at Mykonos Restaurant — from furniture to fabrics to tableware — will be imported from Greece, Mitsotakis tells us. Projected opening: April 2024.

McDonalds must stay!! It is always busy and has always been supported by the community. The leasing company is making a BIG mistake in not negotiating the rent. Cabin John has always served the neighborhood and it is striving to become like Mazza Gallery in DC and look what happened there!! First Broadway Pizza you lost and now McDonalds.
