Fast-casual seafood spot Slapfish has closed its doors after a four-year run on Rockville Pike. The California-based chain was among the first eateries to join the fast-casual restaurant row at Montrose Crossing, where Timpano was torn down to make space for Cava, Honeygrow, Five Guys and Mod Pizza. Slapfish lost its founder last summer and has been closing other locations, including the one in D.C.
