Psycho Bunny hops in
Trendy menswear brand Psycho Bunny, known for its colorful polo shirts and edgy logo, is heading to Westfield Montgomery mall. The company offers an upscale casual wardrobe — shirts, shorts, swim trunks and the like — all emblazoned with its signature image of a bunny skull and crossbones. Plans call for a fall opening on the mall’s lower level, next door to Aerie and Offline. Psycho Bunny will be the third men’s store to open at the mall this year, following the recent additions of Sayki and De Clichy.
Orange Julius is squeezed out
In other mall news, this week we say goodbye to longtime snack spot DQ/Orange Julius. This old-school dessert brand, owned by Dairy Queen since 1987, had been one of the longest-running tenants at Westfield Montgomery. No word yet on what might take its place.
From Sanctuary to Sassanova
Sanctuary Interior Design has closed its doors at the Wildwood shopping center, but the space won’t be empty for long: The Sassanova shoe store is temporarily moving in. Wildwood will be Sassanova’s home for the next few months, while its Bethesda Row location gets a facelift.
Final poses for Village Yoga
Village Yoga, a fixture in Potomac Village since 2011, has closed its doors at the River Falls Shopping Center. Owner Freddy Margolis taught his last class this week and has relocated to the Annapolis area.
