Who says the summer months are slow around here? A lot happened when we took a few weeks off. Let’s start with Pike & Rose, where Pinstripes opened its doors last weekend with bowling, bocce, cool rooftop views and a surprisingly top-notch menu. We loved the tenderloin sliders ($16), stuffed mushrooms ($11), boneless short rib with mashed potatoes ($25) and roasted cauliflower pasta with sundried tomatoes ($13). A 4,000-square-foot Sephora store is also new at Pike & Rose, soon to be followed by L.L. Bean, H&M, Sur La TableNando’s, Taylor Gourmet and a Porsche dealership.
