Saturday, Oct. 28th is opening day for Jurisdiction Clothing, the first of two new boutiques at Cabin John Village. The store is stocked with women’s clothes, accessories, jewelry and gifts from brands like AFRM, Blue B, Fate by LFD and Flying Monkey — plus a newly relaunched version of ’80s favorite Esprit. Owner Jessica Markham says she’s aiming to serve a diverse customer base with inclusive sizing, moderate prices and representation from minority-owned, female-owned and queer-owned vendors. You’ll find Jurisdiction next to Giant, facing the front parking lot in the shopping center’s new central corridor. Next up for the Cabin John boutique scene: Apricot Lane, opening later this year.
