Philadelphia-based Honeygrow will make its Montgomery County debut next month at Montrose Crossing on Rockville Pike — the beginning of a new restaurant row that soon will include Cava, Pieology and Five Guys. Honeygrow, which is planning a rapid expansion in the D.C. area, features made-to-order salads and stir-fries that are customized via touchscreen kiosks. The restaurant also is known for its unique “Honeybar,” where customers can design their own combos of fresh fruit, yogurt, house-made whipped cream, crunchy toppings and local honey.
