A buyer has emerged for the bankrupt Buy Buy Baby chain, but the retailer’s physical stores are still going bye-bye. Dream on Me, a New Jersey-based manufacturer of baby gear, has agreed to pay $15.5 million for Buy Buy Baby’s trademark and accompanying digital assets. This deal is similar to the one struck last month for sister chain Bed Bath & Beyond, whose digital assets are being sold to Overstock for $21.5 million. Meanwhile, there are bargains to be had on Rockville Pike as both stores continue to hold going-out-of-business sales.

Your old format with every new story pon one page is much better than this one. The current format takes too long to read. Please consider going back. Thanks!

Hello Ilene, thanks for your feedback. Changes in a website always take some time for everyone to get used to, but this format of each article being on its own post is the way it’s done by most news organizations. We are still working on some updates and will soon be adding some links that will make it easier to get right back to the home page or jump back into the rest of the latest stories.

Where do people go now for brick and mortar store for baby products? My colleague is about to have a child and it’s been 20 years since I needed to go in one! Is there anything left now Buy Buy Baby and Babies R Us have gone?

In this area Macy’s, Nordstrom and Target are probably the primary options for the moment. But it looks like Buy Buy Baby will be back: https://storereporter.com/buy-buy-baby-to-reopen-rockville/
